We are STOKED! for this upcoming Summer IN PERSON workshop led by artisan Hilary Hahn who specializes in natural dying techniques using flowers and plants. and indigo dyes. We met at Renegade Craft fair years ago and I’m obsessed with the things I purchased from her then so I’m truly excited to host this magical day of creative fun! In this workshop, you will be guided you through the basics of natural indigo dye. Learn how to look for natural fabrics, learn a brief history of indigo dye and create a personalized design with Shibori folding techniques. You will be starting out with a bandana but there will be time to up-cycle an additional piece of clothing. Up-cycle a tee or pillow cases and make them new to you!
When: July 24th at 11 am-1pm (2 hour workshop time) $110 per person. 10 spots available.
This workshop will include:
One 100% organic cotton bandana OR tea towel
light refreshments
use of rubber bands, wooden shapes, & clothespins
guided instructions
option to add-on an additional bandana, tea towel, or a yard of kimono fabric for only $5, please let us know if you'd like additional items

Social distancing plan in effect. Each attendee will receive a COMFORT LEVEL STICKER to be worn that lets other guests know your comfort level during an in person event. Chose from either GREEN for I’m comfortable with people near me. YELLOW for please try to be mindful of your proximity of me or RED for please respect me and stay 6’ away with very limited interaction.
